Empowering Students Through Education
As a teacher in the public school system, I have seen many changes taking place over the last decade. I have seen an increasing amount of parents that want to homeschool their student but shy away from the idea because they feel that they can’t teach their own child. That’s where we come in! Brittni Dunbar is my name, teaching is my game. When life circumstances took me out of the classroom in order to do what is best for my own child, I decided to bring the classroom to homeschool families in our community! TIER ONE
$75 a month/per kid
Days and Times will be agreed upon during booking.
In tier one, the parent will purchase the curriculum of their choice for their child. The teacher will meet with the child twice a week to check on the progress of their work and to help them with anything they are having a hard time with. The teacher will ensure that the child is set up for success with their curriculum.
Add ons are available for $50 a month and will include things like cooking, baking, art, etc.
TIER TWO
$150 a month/per kid
There is a $20 a month discount for families with multiple children.
Days and Times will be agreed upon during booking.
In tier two, the teacher will create a curriculum based on the student’s specific learning needs. The teacher will teach and assist the student with the work in person twice a week. The parent will be responsible for helping the student with any homework throughout the rest of the week. This includes the core subjects of Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies.
Add ons are available for $50 a month and will include things like cooking, baking, art, etc.
TIER THREE
$250 a month/ per kid
There is a $20 a month discount for families with multiple children.
In tier three, the teacher will create a curriculum based on the student’s specific learning needs. This includes the core subjects of Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies.The teacher will teach and assist the student with the work in person twice a week. The teacher will also meet with the student virtually at scheduled times throughout the rest of the week to ensure that the student is completing their work and to clear up any misconceptions. Add ons will be included in Tier three and will not be an additional cost.
Hourly Tutoring
If you are looking for hourly tutoring instead of a monthly rate the price will be $20 an hour and scheduling will be separate from the scheduling of homeschool teaching/tutoring.
